Canada Seeks Telemarketing Complaint Prober

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission has issued a request for proposal to find a company to investigations of all telemarketing complaints.

The selected bidder will also monitor compliance with the telemarketing rules and with the country’s Do Not Call List.

The request for proposal is publicly available through the MERX Web site, at www.merx.com, and will close on March 25.

The list is expected to become effective by Sept. 30.
