AT&T plans to open Detroit call center this year

DETROIT – Telecommunications giant AT&T plans to open a new call center in Detroit by the end of the year.
The Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News reported Tuesday that AT&T Internet Services plans to hire about 300 people for the call center.
AT&T Inc. spokesman Joe Steele says the jobs previously were done outside the United States.
